This year the Tugboat Roundup will feature a trolley! Follow the signs for to our satellite parking lot and take the trolley to either festival drop off point; Lock 2 or the Hurst Harbor Center. Take a break from the festivities and take the trolley over to Corcoran’s Towpath Tavern and back again! The trolley will stop at each location about every 20 minutes from 10am to 10pm on Saturday, 9/7/19.
The Tugboat Roundup happens each each, the weekend after Labor Day. A great festival with food, music, historical tours, tugboat tours, crafts, and spectacular Saturday fireworks. There are tugboat parades and tugboat competitions including line tossing for the crew (it's a lot harder than it looks!) and the favorite, Nose to Nose Push-off where the skill of the captains, the strength of the boat and the power of the engines are put to the test.
