The Tugboat Roundup takes place along a quarter mile of the Erie Canal and at Lock E2 Park. The address of the festival will take you to the Hurst Harbor Center (formerly the Waterford Visitor Center) at the heart of the festival. However, parking is very limited in this area. A satellite parking lot is available. A trolley to the festival is available from the parking lot to the festival (Saturday only). It is short walk from the parking lot to the festival. You will see signs for the parking lot when you arrive in Waterford. If you choose to find a parking spot closer to the festival, please note that this is a residential area and be respectful of homes and driveways.

The CDTA bus route 85 will take you to Broad Street in Waterford just two blocks north of the festival. Exit the bus anywhere along Broad St, and walk south (left when coming from Troy) to the Erie Canal.
Take Amtrak to the Albany-Rensselaer. Take a bus, Uber/Lyft, or the CDTA bus to Waterford.
Fly into Albany International Airport. Take a Lyft or cab to Waterford. Car rentals are available. Alternatively, fly into Stewart International Airport, about a hour and half drive from Waterford.
From the the north, proceed south on the Champlain Canal.
From the south, proceed north on the Hudson River.
From the west, proceed east on the Erie Canal.
Free docking with some power will be available at Erie Lock 3 in Waterford on the Waterford Flight. There is approximately 600 feet of available wall with a 1 to 2 foot freeboard. It’s a 6 block walk to the waterfront.
