The 2012 Tugboat Roundup will be the weekend after Labor Day!

Friday, September 7th
11:00 Waterfront opens for Vendors
12:30 Boats depart for the Tugboat Parade
2:45 Official start of the 2012 Tugboat Roundup as the parade leaves the Port of Albany
3:45 Tugs start passing through Troy
4:00 George Ward plays at the Visitor's Center
4:30 "Caldwell Belle" arrives at the Battery for pick up and then meeting parade at Troy Lock
5 - 7:00 Boats arrive from the Parade
8:00 "All Nite Long" plays on the Grand Erie
Saturday, September 8th
9:00 Waterfront open with Vendors, Exhibits, Family Activities
9 - 5:00 Tugboat Tours

12:00 ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) dedicates and recognizes the Waterford "Flight"
12:30 Mischief the Clown and Q.T. Pie; Face painting and balloon animals open
12:30 Line Throwing competition at the Battery
1:00 "Boys of Wexford" plays on the Grand Erie
2:00 Tugboat Nose to Nose competition
3:00 Little Apple Puppet Theatre

*nominal charge for boat rides, tickets sold at the dock or on board.
Erie Champlain Boat Company will be involved in the parade and operating tour from directly in front of the visitor's center. www.eccboating.com
Caldwell Belle will be operating from the Battery, picking up passengers at 4:30 on Friday afternoon and then joining the parade. www.champlaincanaltours.com
